Where to find it
Click your avatar in the top right of any screen, then go to Settings. The Settings page opens with the My Profile tab already selected. If you are looking at a different settings tab, click My Profile in the Settings Tabs sidebar on the left.
What's on the page
The My Profile tab has two cards.
Profile Image. The picture that appears next to your name on candidate cards, in team mentions, and on shared notes. Click Upload to add or replace the image. Talinty accepts PNG or JPEG, and the minimum size is 400 by 400 pixels. Square images render best because the avatar position crops to a circle.
Profile Information. Your structured account details. First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Profession, Language, Theme, and Email. These are the fields that drive how Talinty refers to you, how it formats dates and numbers, and how it displays the interface to you.
A note on each field that needs one:
Profession is the role you hold in your own organization, not the role you have inside Talinty. The role you have inside Talinty (Admin, Recruiter, Manager, Viewer, and so on) is set under User Management by your Admin and is covered in User roles and permissions in the Your Team category.
Language changes the interface language for your account only. Switching to Arabic also flips the layout to right-to-left for you. Your teammates' language settings are unaffected.
Theme is your personal preference for Light or Dark mode. The current default is Dark Theme. The choice is per-account, not per-workspace.
Email is the address Talinty uses to send you notifications and the one you sign in with. Changing your sign-in email is a sensitive action; if your email needs to change, contact us through Get help from Talinty support rather than editing it yourself.
How to edit your profile
Click Edit Profile in the bottom right of the page. The card switches to editable fields. Make your changes, then save. Edits take effect immediately for fields that are personal to you (theme, language, profile image). Edits to fields that other people see (your name, your phone number) propagate to candidate cards and team views as soon as the page refreshes.
What happens if you do nothing
The Profile page is optional. Talinty will work with the default name and avatar you signed up with. The reason to fill it in is your teammates and your candidates: they see your name and your picture in mentions, notes, and rejection emails. A blank or default avatar reads as a placeholder. If you only do one thing here in your first week, upload a real photo.
